Classroom Mathematics Technology

Mathematics is a tough subject for most people, especially with all the new information and concepts you learn from 7th-12th grade, which are the levels I teach. This $13,000 buys 30 low-end chromebooks (one for each student in class), a beginning robotics kit with software, and low-end chess sets for our rookie year club (chess is a highly pattern-based game that teaches students retrograde analysis, cost/risk analysis, and strategic decision making...all fantastic skills for the U.S. job market). I am planning on using Khan Academy with all my students in my classes to better target struggling students and more accurately/quickly identify where their difficulties are. I am budgeting low end on everything to make this goal more attainable. Thank you so much for your time and generosity and for investing in all of our futures!
