The Chris Lynch Golf Marathon
EVENT DATE: May 05, 2014
In December of 2013, Chris Lynch was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. As he goes through chemotherapy and continues to fight this disease many have asked how they can show their support to both Chris and his family. As a result we are hosting a golf tournament to raise money for the charity Chris would like to support. In choosing a charity, Chris wanted to affect the two places closest to him, the University of Florida and his home town of Jacksonville. The Live for Today Foundation does just that, being headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach and being founded by a UF student, Todd Blake. The Live For Today Foundation helps young adults with cancer by providing dynamic opportunities, fostering community support and promoting healthy living. You can learn more about what they do at www.live-for-today.org
The Chris Lynch Golf Marathon benefiting the Live For Today Foundation will be hosted at The Country Club of Orlando. The goal is to play 100 holes in one day! It won’t be easy…but it is possible. We are creating a small field and will have the course to ourselves from sunrise to sunset. We look forward to seeing you out there and thank you for your support!
