In class, we recently read an essay about homeless people. It surprised me when they told their story's about how they became homeless. I am See more
Hi, I'm Chloe Lippert, I'm 12 and in 7th grade. I go to Bel Air Church of the Nazarene. A while ago my Pastor was talking about how he went on a missions trip with our missions team to Honduras. He said that one of the guys went to a store and bought a woman on the street a blanket. He said she was so overwhelmed with joy at such a little and ordinary thing. This got me thinking. The children in Honduras do not get a proper education or get taught who God is. So, I wanted to raise money to send to Honduras and other places like it. The money will help build churches and schools. It will also help give kids a better education and basic necessities. in Psalm chapter 69, verse 9, it says "I love you more than I can say. Because I'm madly in love with you, they blame me for everything they dislike about you." That verse stood out to me because that is how I feel about God, I love Him so much. I just want to live my life for God and I felt like He was calling me to raise money. In Proverbs chapter 29, verse 20, it says "Committed and persistent work pays off; get-rich-quick schemes are ripoffs." It stood out to me because this takes a lot of time and effort. So I hope I have not wasted my time or yours and convinced you to fund my cause. Thank you!
