Children’s Dyslexia Centers, Inc. is a dedicated organization of people who believe every child should have access to high-quality reading and writing instruction. We’re helping children to successfully meet the literacy demands in school and their future careers.
The mission of each Dyslexia Center has three components: provide the highest quality after-school reading services to children with dyslexia, train tutors in state-of-the-art multisensory approaches to teaching literacy, and advance the body of scientific knowledge of dyslexia through clinical research.
Today, the program is nationally recognized for its efforts to help children and their families overcome the painful obstacles of dyslexia. Our more than 40 Dyslexia Centers in 13 states provide intervention at reduced or no charge to children from early elementary through high school who have a profile suggesting dyslexia. Children are eligible regardless of economic status. The positive impact of early intervention on the lives of these children and their families is enormous and inspires our commitment to this program.
