BENEFITING: CHILDRENS TRUST FUND OF OREGON FOUNDATION
THE STORY:
Last month the most recent numbers were released from the Department of Human Services in the State of Oregon that there were 11,188 unduplicated child abuse/neglect victims in FFY 2010, a 0.9 percent increase from FFY 2009.
During the month of April 2011, National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Children's Trust Fund of Oregon would like to raise a minimum of $1 per victum of child abuse so that we can invest this money into effective community based programs in our state to help reduse this number in furture years.
