Ainsley's Angels of America is super excited to be spreading awareness through activism and education and honored to celebrate Isaiah!
For those of you who know Isaiah, he brings a smile to everyone. For those of you, who don't, let me let me tell you a little about him. He is a free spirit and loves to laugh and when he does you will know because his laugh is contagious. He was born prematurely at 2 lbs, 7 oz. Within 24 hours he had a severe hemorrhage in his brain. The doctors had little to no hope for him. They said he would never be able to walk, talk, or sit up. Our miracle proved us all wrong. He has been the biggest miracle and the biggest motivator that I know. Our family has never treated Isaiah as having a disability. We have always treated him as if he were normal. So to him everything is easy, everything should be done, and "no" is not an option. He has always loved to be outdoors, whether running, walking, camping, or fishing, he is going. Our family started running with Isaiah awhile back, but we have always done it in his regular wheelchair. Now if you know what I'm talking about, it is a chore. The front wheels shake and it becomes extremely heavy due to the structure of it. We have done several military runs and also a "Run or Dye" 5k which he absolutely loved. Isaiah loves the cheering of the crowd, the wind in his face, and pushing our family to run faster for him and never give up, and believe me he will tell you, "Run like the wind, don't be lazy", and he will let out a contagious laugh. He is such a joy to be around and it would be an honor for us to be able to have his very own running chair. He would be extremely excited. We need your help in raising $5200 as our goal is the Blade II Hoyt Chair. We not only want to continue running 5k's, but to build up running 10k's, half marathons and full marathons, as well with this chair we would be able to hook it up to a bike and pull him for another even more greater experience.
