The Central Pennsylvania Humane Society (CPHS) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter that serves both the animals and people who love them in Blair County, PA. We are an open admission, lifesaving shelter that does not euthanize for length of stay or space; instead, we put our all into the animals in our care and work to find every mentally and physically sound animal a home of their own. Our time and efforts have paid off, giving us a lifesaving percentage of 94.6% for 2018. Our mission is to continue to provide a safe haven for the animals in our care while they wait for their forever homes and to prevent neglect and cruelty through education and enforcement.
Donations mean the world to small shelters like CPHS; we would not get by without the generosity of our community! Money raised through this campaign will go straight toward the animals. It will help with routine medical care, emergency and critical care, and our volunteer run Trap Neuter Return program. Additionally, it will help us expand our budget for animal enrichment, making CPHS a more stimulating environment for both our short and long term residents.
We--the staff and animal residents of CPHS, as well as the community members who take advantage of our services--thank you for your generosity! Please know that we could not meet our mission without people like YOU!
