BENEFITING: Save the Music Foundation
Music programs are often the first to get cut from k-12 schools across the nation when there are budget cuts. However, music is one reason many kids stay in school and are successful in school. Artistic outlets afford students the ability to express and deal with their developing emotions in a way that the core classes often cannot. This is true for Cayley Bledsoe. Being involved with the music programs in Columbia Public Schools (Columbia, MO) has motivated her to do well in all of her classes at school and made her part of a large family. This family has nominated her for homecoming queen and as part of her campaign she had to raise money for a charity. She chose VH1's Save the Music (http://www.vh1savethemusic.org/). If you would like to help her, please donate here and she will submit the money to the organization in one lump sum. The deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015. Thank you so much!
