Donate to help the 25 member, 60 year strong, Capron Lions Club hit our goal to make improvements to our building and grounds. Currently, we are the only place in town to hold events such as spaghetti dinners, graduation, weddings, and birthdays. Each donation will go towards the following:

Installing a commercial hood for the commercial stove
Purchasing and installing an ansul unit so we can cook in the building
Installing a partition to separate the two halves of the building
Purchasing 200-250 sturdy folding/stacking chairs
Cement paint to coat the cement floors
Paving our parking lot

Donating is a great opportunity to invest in our small community. The Lions Club helps our community by serving with over 1000 hours in collecting and sorting eyeglasses, holding vision and hearing screenings, along with blood drives. We maintain the baseball park so the local youth and adults have somewhere to hold their games and tournaments. We maintain a mile stretch of the local highway. We hold movie, dance, and game nights, along with holiday themed festivities.

Besides the joy you will feel helping us, your gift will also help many other fundraising groups who will use our building and be able to cook there as well !!

Coming up the quickest, we will be working with the Capron Fire Department to hold our second BBQ Chicken Dinner (August 27, 2016 from 12-6 pm at the Capron Lions Park on North Street).
