Hey guys/gals! You probably don't remember but last year I made my one "ask" of the year for a charity to support my middle son Nick's school. I set out to raise $1000 and by the time everyone had made their generous donations was able to blow by that number and raise over $5,000!!!! Last year we just had my middle son Nick at the Hill and have been so blown away by his progress that our oldest son Ryan is now joining him there for the first half of every day to help him with his unique learning style. As someone who struggled with school early on and could have used a place like the Hill Center (no doubt I have some form of ADD/ADHD and think there was probably some slight Dyslexia) it's been amazing to see how both of them have progressed, not only academically but also with their self confidence (it's never fun feeling like the only person that doesn't get it). This year I'm shooting to raise $2,500 so anything you can contribute will be appreciated. You can drop off a check with me, sign up online, whatever is easiest. I'll personally make sure you get your tax donation form for your charitable contribution. It's a 1 mile race on Sunday April 22nd with a carnival type of atmosphere - if any of you want to come I'll get you all signed up as well.
As an aside, if you want to see some funny video of me mortifying my kids by doing "Dad's Youtube" feel free to peep the link below. Apparently youtube is super cool unless it's your dad :)
