BENEFITING: National Blood Clot Alliance
My name is Hillary Landers and my own battle with blood clots is what inspired me to apply to pharmacy school. I'm now in my second year at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy and want to make an impact in the awareness and education of blood clot risk factors, prevention methods and signs/symptoms. Without the proper knowledge of signs and symptoms, I would more than likely be a statistic: another life lost too early to blood clots. This dance challenge, "Bust a Move Stop the Clot" is challenging you to 1) donate to the National Blood Clot Alliance, 2) Share a video of yourself dancing to your favorite song, or your favorite dance move, and 3) challenge your friends to do the same. Working together, making a fun challenge, and getting everyone involved can increase the awareness of blood clots and reduce the number of lives lost to blood clots. If you're here, reading this... consider yourself challenged: show us how YOU Bust a Move and Stop the Clot!
