Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory

The Official Arizona Centennial Legacy Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory - Ladies and Gentlemen of the Regiment in Mesa, Arizona have been approved to erect a Buffalo Soldiers AZ Territory Monument, 1866 - 1902 at Arizona State Capitol, Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza downtown Phoenix, Arizona. We are individuals who research and re-enact the parts of the Buffalo Soldiers 9th and 10th Cavalry and 24th and 25th Infantry. We are a family oriented organization and we have children who has taken parts in this historical moment in time. Founded: December 3, 2007.

Buffalo Soldiers AZ Territory Monument, 1866 - 1902

    to be placed at Arizona State Capitol,  Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza downtown Phoenix, Arizona.


                                               

The First African American military monument to be placed at Arizona State Capitol complex.  Let them proudly sit equally among the heroes who helped defend, build, and settle our great nation.  "Respecting the Past, Responding to the Present and Reaching to the Future".  America's Historical Cultural that explore stories and beliefs in order to deepen our understanting of the colored soldier's history in 1866 - 1902.  They served in the 9th and 10th Cavalry and 24th and 25th Infantry with courage and valor.


The Official Arizona Centennial Legacy Buffalo Soldiers of the Arizona Territory - Ladies and Gentlemen of the Regiment in Mesa, Arizona purpose and mission is 'Keeping History Alive' by educating people about the significant contributions of the Buffalo Soldiers, 9th and 10th Cavalry and 24th and 25th Infantry, 1866 - 1902 legacy. 


We are reaching out to you to become a Donor or Sponsor to help erect the Buffalo Soldiers AZ Territory Monument and with your donation you will help preserve the proud history of the Buffalo Soldiers legacy and its heritage preserving our freedom.


We are under tremendous pressure to raise the full $650,000 that is needed for the monument.   Your donation will  help us at this point to reach the funding milestone that will enable moving the project to completion.  The official historic site will be a part of other memorials and monuments and an everlasting historical moment of time of Phoenix Points of Pride, an urban park and gathering place in front of Arizona State Capitol complex.  Let this become a reality that will proudly reflect an important part of American military history for generations to come.
