She needed a liver transplant desperately. For most of her life, Bernie has had to endure many medical problems, and for her family this further expense is above anything they could hope to afford. Any and all proceeds will go into a fund in Bernie's name to help her and her family during this difficult time. It will help with immediate expenses such as insurance, medications, transportation costs, and hotel fees. They now have a fund open at Bank of America called "Be A Giver For Bernie's Liver." Paypal to come soon.
It is my intention that we can raise some money to support her family. She was a member of University High School's Titan Theatre Troupe in her Junior and Senior year of high school. Myself and many others in the troupe want nothing more than to be able to do something grand for her. She is a wonderful person with so much spirit and faith. If you can give something, it would mean so much.
On May 4th, she went through an extensive 5-hour liver transplant surgery. However, since the surgery, she punctured her right lung and now is suffering from pneumonia. She is practically in a catatonic state. As her friends, we want nothing more than to see her overcome this huge struggle. Please help us to help our friend. It all starts with you.
