Run for the Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils!
Through a partnership with the New York Road Runners’ Charity Partner Program, the Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils has 10 slots in this year’s TCS New York City Marathon.
We ask our runners to raise a fundraising minimum of $3,000 to support the programs serving the more than 47,000 youth in the five boroughs of New York City.
Just for Our Runners
- Members of Team Greater New York Councils receive paid marathon registration fees of approximately $300.
- Boy Scouts of America logo team t-shirt.
- Pre-race team breakfast on the morning of November 5th.
- Gift bag.
There is a $50 hold fee that must be paid to the Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils.
Copy: https://www.bsa-gnyc.org/boyscoutnycmarathon into your browser to fill out the request for application. You then will be sent an email on how to continue to apply and pay your hold fee. This $50 will be credited to your fundraising efforts. Please note that by initially paying this hold fee does not guarantee you a slot in the 2016 Marathon until approved by Shaun Caruana of the Boy Scouts of America, Greater New York Councils staff.
For more information or questions, please contact Shaun Caruana at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hurry, because spots are going quick!
Due to the small size of our team, we do not organize official running groups, nor do we have a coaching staff like some of the larger teams. What we do have is the promise that the money you raise goes to fund programs for the youth of the Greater New York Councils.
