BENEFITING: After The Impact Fund Inc
THE STORY:
Former San Francisco 49er, Chris Borland, Captain Joe Borland, US Army JAG Corps and Major John Borland, US Army currently instructing at West Point, are racing in the Pat Tillman Foundation’s Pat’s Run in Tempe, Arizona on behalf of After The Impact Fund (ATIF), which facilitates custom treatment plans for Veterans and Athletes with traumatic brain injuries.
“Veterans and football players face uniquely steep challenges after their careers. We often forget about men who starred on the football field in the past. Sadly, veterans often don’t receive the assistance they deserve. After the Impact Fund is addressing this by bringing these communities together to heal. Joe, John, and I are proud to be a small part of ATIF’s vitally important effort ” says Chris Borland, a 3rd round pick in the 2014 NFL draft and led the San Francisco 49ers in tackles as a rookie.
After The Impact Fund is a 501c3 non-profit, charitable organization that facilitates custom treatment plans for Veterans and Athletes with traumatic injuries. But through our vetted resources, ATIF provides a clear path to healing for these individuals and their families. Bringing these communities together, our solutions remove or reduce symptoms, help mend relationships and provide a renewed sense of purpose.
