Lump Removal and Biopsy For Little Kitty
Organized by: Anna B.
EVENT DATE Jul 25, 2014
Hi everyone! Little Kitty is 12 years old and for a cat of her breed, still fairly young. She's incredibly playful and sweet, and I thought she was in perfect health, but the other day, we discovered a lump on her side above her hind leg. The vet said it was most likely a cancerous tumor called Injection Site Sarcoma. She said it is aggressive and does not respond well to treatment. She said it is definitely not a cyst, but without the biopsy/removal, we can't know for sure what it is. No matter what, for Kitty to have a shot, the lump has to be removed. The problem is that we don't have the funds to pay for the surgery/anesthesia it would require. Someone has already very generously donated half of the cost--500--and now we only need to raise $500 more. I would truly, truly appreciate any help at all, whether it's a very small amount or not. I love Kitty so much. She has been my cat since I was 6 years old, and she means the world to me. The thought of losing her breaks my heart, and although I know a pet's death is inevitable, I was really hoping that she would make it to much older than 12. Anything at all is so, so appreciated, but if you do not have the funds, I completely understand. A prayer or a kind word is just as appreciated as well.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
