On April 7th, 2018 we hope you will join us in the battle against opioid addiction. The Big Apple Hunt is a NYC Charity Scavenger Hunt where teams will compete and raise awareness for opioid addiction in the US.
This year's Big Apple Hunt is inspired by our good friend Ted Barrett and the Hanging with Ted initiative. In January of 2016, Ted Barrett’s life was cut tragically short due to his struggle with opioid addiction. Ted was a son, brother, friend, but most of all he was an incredible human being. It is why his friends and family have taken it upon themselves to shatter the stigma of addiction and to aid in the fight against the opioid epidemic.
The event will involve teams taking photos with Ted's Favorite things, NYC landmarks, and other shenanigans in and around the Big Apple. Following the scavenger hunt there will be a Reception at Libation NYC with Music from David Solomon (DJ Sol). Please join us for open bar, food, games, prizes and more!
By partnering with Shatterproof- a national nonprofit at the forefront of reversing the course of the opioid epidemic- to raise funds and awareness, we know we can make a difference in this fight.
Make sure to purchase your tickets for the after party HERE if you don't plan on participating in the scavenger hunt. Note: Ticket prices for the reception will increase on March 19th. So get those tickets NOW.
