BACKGROUND

Like an evergreen, BTCCGL survives through the tough times. As a community we have come together to accomplish many things with our organization, now we ask for your help once again to help us weather this storm.

With the recent situation we have had to suspend all activities at our facility, but that does not mean we get to suspend all of our financial obligations for mortgage, utilities, etc. We ask you today to help us to cover the next six (6) months of expenses so that when we are on the other side of this we can come back strong with our full slate of activities and events ready to go.

While we await that day, we continue to do what we can to provide access to those activities in the comfort of your own home. You can find livestreams of these activities on our website (btccgl.org) - everything from yoga to our daily nitya pujas.

GOALS

Our goal is to cover six (6) months of expenses. Our minimum expenditure to keep the lights on, pay for the building, insurance, and other essential expenses is $125 a day - or $22,500 for 180 days.

We ask for your help in any amount you are able to. Perhaps the $6 for a Sunday lunch that you would have spent or the amount for a ticket to the next event you were hoping to attend.

1 Day of Sponsorship = $125

2 Days of Sponsorship = $250

7 Days of Sponsorship = $875

*Reminder that any contribution counts towards your overall donor level. These contributions also count towards a life membership if the amount is attained within a calendar year.

MAKING IT FUN

As an incentive to donating, the current president, Pritesh Patel, has decided to make it a little more interesting. For each month that we successfully fund he (and possibly other board members) have pledged to:

Month 1 ($3,750) - Get pied in the face during the 2020 Member & Donor Appreciation event by month 1 donors

Month 2 ($7,500) - A fully donated day gets you a shot at getting him dunked in a dunk tank

Month 3 ($11,250) - Will kiss a pig

Month 4 ($15,000) - Will spend a night in a real haunted asylum

Month 5 ($18,750) - Shave his head

Month 6 ($22,500) - Will jump out of a plane
