Bengal Rescue is committed to rescuing Bengal cats and other hybrid cats, including but not limited to Savannah cats, Toyger cats, and Chausie cats.
We are members of a very large community of Bengal Cat enthusiasts, which includes other Rescue Organizations, Adopters, Fosters, Behavioral Experts, Medical Experts, and Transport teams.
With the support of these individuals, we have developed a nationwide foster network, who can rescue, transport, foster, and care for these cats who are in a transitionary state. Some cats are being placed individually by their owner, in new homes. Others are fostering Bengals who we have rescued from County / City Shelters. It is our network that truly saves lives - we couldn't do this without each individual's participation and support.
We ensure that all of the cats in our program are properly Vetted. Because we rely solely on donations, to do the work that we do, in the case of Owner Surrender we ask the owner to cover veterinary expenses before taking him / her to Foster and/or placing them in a forever home. When we rescue cats from Shelters, we ensure that the cat receives Vaccinations, Spay and Neuter, and whatever care is deemed necessary by the Veterinarian.
It is also our mission to build a large social media presence, which will allow us to find cats in need of rescue, identify potential adopters, and educate Bengal cat owners about their behavioral and medical challenges.
In the end, we are as firmly dedicated to the cats in our program, as we are to our very own feline family members.
