"I want to build my own car". That's a pretty bold statement.
And that's the answer I got when I asked Adrian what he wanted to do once he graduated from High School.
Perfect, a Major in Mechanical Engineering! We have a goal! That's half the way...
The other half is Adrian and I working hard to get the grades we need for applying to San Jose State University, our 1st pick after analyzing many possibilities available.
But how someone who never had to deal with the US University Application process is able to help Adrian thru this fairly complex process?
More than that, how can you make sure that you are on the right track or how you keep this two people constantly involved on the common goal?
The answer is iMentor.
I am amazed by this community commitment and progress to make sure all kids involved have a chance on Higher Education.
That's why I am asking you to donate $25 on the next 2 weeks. Gabi and I will personally match the first $1,000. Our goal is $2,000, which is sufficient to support two pairs of Mentees/Mentors thru an academic year.
Thank you for your time and support!
It costs iMentor's programming team about $1,000 to provide one mentor-mentee pair with access to iMentor’s proven college success curriculum and resources. Here is what your support can do for the Bay Area’s students:
- $25 allows a mentee to attend a year of iMentor events
- $100 supplies a mentee with a year's access to monthly career and college preparation events
- $500 provides a college application event for an entire Junior class
- $1,000 supports the mentorship of one student as they work one-on-one with their mentor toward academic and personal success
