Bachelor's Degree, finally!

I am a Senior at the University of Nevada, Reno. Or at least I was, until I found out I'd run out of financial aid. With a single year left. Two little semesters separating me from that glorious piece of paper at the end of the hell-rainbow to prove I'd done it-- something no one else in my family has.

I had to take a year off, to work a bad, bad warehouse job to support myself (as my financial aid had been supporting me) and to think. I'd always taken it for granted that I would graduate-- I'm smart and I'm savvy. I didn't realize what I had until I came so close and then it slipped through my fingers like so much silver and blue sand. Now I am far more appreciative, and I am hungry for that slip of paper. I will do anything for it. Even dance in the street naked.

Unfortunately, I still have no money. No money, no Degree. I've got access to enough for some of it, but that amount there would mostly cover what I'm missing so I only have to work part-time while taking 15 units, rather than full-time.

As a bit of information, I am an Anthropology major and my dream is to ultimately pursue a Master's Degree at NYU's Steinhardt School in Human Development and Social Intervention, an Applied Psychology path.
