The Bridges to Peace Global is a year-round campaign raising awareness for the vital work and mission of Seeds of Peace: to inspire and equip new generations of leaders from regions of conflict with the relationships, understanding, and skills needed to advance lasting peace.
The B2P campaign honors young leaders who are transforming conflicts. Their literal act of crossing bridges reflects the metaphorical one of building bridges between people from different communities, a core mission of Seeds of Peace.
This fall, in the weeks leading up to and following the International Day of Peace – September 21 – Seeds and supporters will gather in more than 50 cities around the world to share the stories of Seeds of Peace's bridge-builders.
Join the international movement! Set up a campaign for your birthday, sporting event, wedding, or for any other reason, and you'll be helping to empower the next generation of peacemakers.
Or join one of our existing events as follows:
- Click on the city you’ll be walking in. If you don’t see a page for your city, click on start your own walk, and let us know what city you’ll be walking in.
- Invite your friends to join you! Let them know where you’ll be walking and ask them to join you. They can sign up by creating their own fundraising page.
- Start fundraising! It’s never too early to start fundraising. Ask your friends and family to support your walk for Seeds of Peace. If you have a birthday or a big life event coming up, ask your friends for donations to your fundraiser instead of gifts.
- Stay tuned! We’ll be sending more information about the walks soon.

About Seeds of Peace: In the face of some of the world’s most intractable conflicts, Seeds of Peace gives rise to new generations of leaders uniquely inspired and equipped to build lasting peace. Treaties are negotiated by governments; peace is made by people.
Since 1993, Seeds of Peace has set the standard in international peace-building by providing exceptional young people and educators from regions of conflict with an otherwise impossible opportunity to meet their historic enemies face-to-face at our International Camp in Maine.
We build on their extraordinary and critical relationships and understanding through year-round local programs that focus on the core leadership capacities needed to advance peace. There are now over 5,000 Seeds and Educators from 27 countries who prove that solutions exist, peace is possible, and there is reason to have hope for a better future.
