Autism Speaks Team Up

THE STORY:

For the first year, Autism Speaks is proud to be a charity partner in the 2016 Boston Marathon.

Running 26.2 miles is a challenge that most of us will never take on. Our runners embrace this challenge to help their children, their grandchildren, their nieces, their students, and their neighbors. Statistics show that every 15 minutes a child is being diagnosed with autism. That means in the time it takes the average runner to complete the marathon, 20 children will be diagnosed.

At Autism Speaks, our goal is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders.

We are dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; to raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; and to bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder. We are committed to raising the funds necessary to support these goals.

Autism Speaks aims to bring the autism community together as one strong voice to urge the government and private sector to listen to our concerns and take action to address this urgent global health crisis. It is our firm belief that, working together, we will find the missing pieces of the puzzle.

Autism Speaks. It's time to listen.

Your donation means so much to our families...

A $25 donation means a newly diagnosed family can receive a 100 Days Kit which will walk them through what to do in the first 100 days from being diagnosed. http://www.autismspeaks.org/community/family_services/100_day_kit.php

A $60 donation means a school district can receive a School Community Tool Kit free of charge. The School Community Tool Kit is designed to support for the general education and administrative school staff who interact with students with autism in various capacities.

Every donation makes a difference no matter its size. Donate Now!
