BENEFITING: KYLE PEASE FOUNDATION INC
On March 20, Hank Poore along with Nicole Chittick, Kat Gurd and I from the Atlanta Triathlon Club will be racing together in the Publix Half Marathon. We are excited and honored to race with the Kyle Pease Foundation and push our athlete, Hank, in a wheelchair for 13.1 miles running through the hilly streets of Atlanta. In addition to providing Hank with an incredible experience, we are also raising money for the Kyle Pease Foundation.
The purpose of the Kyle Pease Foundation (KPF) is to create awareness and raise funds to promote success for persons with disabilities by providing assistance to meet their individual needs through sports. Programs may include scholarship opportunities, purchasing of medical equipment or adaptive sports equipment for others or contributing to other organizations that provide similar assistance to disabled persons as well as participating in educational campaigns to create awareness about Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities. Direct benefits will be limited to persons with disabilities who need adaptive sports equipment, mobility devices or medical care.
Last year, The Kyle Pease Foundation took 22 families/racers to the start line along with a host of volunteers. With your help we can make this year even bigger! With your support, other individuals will get to participate in road races, triathlons & many other sporting endeavors. Every dollar helps and is 100% tax-deductible.
We are extremely appreciative of your continued support. Thank you for helping us achieve Hank’s half marathon goal. Where there is a wheel there's a way!
