ATASK is Back Again at the 2017 Boston Dragon Boat Festival!
EVENT DATE: Jun 11, 2017
In an effort to raise awareness about domestic violence, ATASK staff, volunteers, clients and supporters have come together as a team to race at this year's Boston Dragon Boat Festival for the second time!
We also hope to raise $2,500 to support the organization's mission of preventing domestic violence in Asian families and communities and providing hope to survivors. ATASK is the only organization in New England that provides culturally-specific domestic violence services to the Asian community. Services are free and available in 20 Asian languages and dialects.
Your contribution to ATASK will help survivors receive emergency shelter, legal services, ESOL classes, and other advocacy services. Staff wellness is also an important part of our organization, and this event is one of the ways we keep our staff practicing self-care as well! Please join the festivities on June 11th and cheer on our team during the races.
