BENEFITING: World Pediatric Project
Hi! My name is Ashley McCreary and I am a senior at The Steward School in Richmond, Virginia. As a senior, it is required that I complete a senior project - so I've decided to run the Bel Monte 50k on March 12, 2016! Instead of making this project all about me, I had the idea to incorporate World Pediatric Project. When I was a sophomore I had the privilege of interning at WPP, which turned into two more summers of internships! WPP holds a special place in my heart. For those not aware, WPP heals critically ill children and builds healthcare capacity in the world. It is my hope that my effort will support WPP in providing access to surgical and diagnostic medical care for children in Central America and the Caribbean. In addition to completing this 50k I'm hoping to raise awareness and significant funds which will benefit WPP and the children that are waiting for life saving treatment. Although you will not be with me on the trail, I'm hoping that you will join me in supporting World Pediatric Project and their mission to "heal a child, change the world."
