The mission of American Cancer Aid is to provide needed financial aid to blood cancer patients to improve their quality of life and that of their families. Founder Adam Mitchell is a father and cancer survivor. As a cancer patient Adam recognized the lack of financial resources available to those facing cancer. Adam has served in the USMC for 5 years active duty; Served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard for 2 years; Served as Lowell Police Officer 1998 to 2001; Served as educator in the Lawrence Public Schools. After going through these problems during his treatment, he decided to help the other patients who experience the same kind of problems. There are an average of 922 Leukemia only patients in Massachusetts between the years 1999 to 2009, who needs your help !!
