BENEFITING: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Nov 06, 2016
I'm proud to be running the TCS NYC Marathon to help children and adults with disabilities in NE and Central Pennsylvania served by Allied Services. Any size donation will help. Donate $30 in my honor and you'll be eligible to receive a cool moisture-wicking WNEP's Ryan's Run exercise shirt.
I’m originally from England, but moved to Northeastern PA in 2007. I have worked for Allied Services since 2010.
It was actually through Ryan Leckey and WNEP’s Ryan’s Run that I was introduced to Allied Services. Since then, I’ve watched the campaign grow and transform thanks to the generosity of this community. I’ve had the opportunity to meet countless everyday people doing extraordinary things. From therapists who go that extra step for their patients, to nurses and direct care workers who show compassion beyond words, to volunteers and runners who make personal sacrifices in order to give back. Perhaps the most rewarding part of all has been personally witnessing how your donations have helped the people we serve mark milestones in their recovery and set new goals.
I’ll admit that I’m nervous about the challenge ahead; overcoming bad habits, a love-hate relationship with running and the laws of gravity, to name just a few! At the end of the day, this campaign is more than the sum of its parts. Our motto says it all. Inspiring fitness. Challenging disability. Changing Lives. Thank you for your support.

We invite you to join us in changing the lives of children and adults with disabilities, life-changing injuries and chronic illness in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania.
