The Social Justice Center is Albany's go-to hub for social justice events and campaigns in New York State's Capital Region. It's the social justice community's very own shared building and community space, hosting such projects as Occupy Albany, the New York State Prisoner Justice Network, Labor Religion Coalition, Solidarity Committee, Capital Area Against Mass Incarceration, and dozens more. Need a place to have a meeting? An affordable shared office space? A networking center to connect with other Capital District activists? A fiscal sponsor for your start-up group's first grant application? A friendly home base with welcoming faces and support for your justice project? The Social Justice Center has been all that and more for 40+ years! It gets no government or grant funding and depends on donors like you to help it keep serving the activist and social justice community of New York's Capital Region.
