This is my Lucy (who has my shirt in her mouth). Lucy is a tree-walker coonhound who was saved by Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) from a high-kill southern shelter. Sadly, in many southern shelters, dogs are only given five days to be adopted before they are euthanized. Lucy was able to escape that undeserved fate.
At ARRI, we rescue animals from high-kill shelters and bring them to our beautiful no-kill shelter in South Kingstown, RI; where we nurture them until they are united with their forever home. To date, we have saved over 1,300 animals from the South.
On Saturday, October 14th , I will be participating in ARRI's 7th Annual 'Bark on the Beach', where will walk to raise money to save the lives of more voiceless animals. Please consider supporting me and making a tax-deductible donation to aid us in our mission. Every dollar helps and no donation is too small.
These innocent beings will certainly thank you for it.
