BENEFITING: The Sierra Club Foundation
EVENT DATE: Nov 15, 2015
The 2015 Adventure Film Festival in Chicago is benefiting The Sierra Club Foundation as the fiscal sponsor for Chicago Inspiring Connections Outdoors (Chicago ICO). Chicago ICO is a community outreach program of the Sierra Club that provides opportunities for urban youth to explore and protect the natural world, developing their leadership skills and honing a love of the outdoors.
Your donation through Crowdrise will help us increase the number of youth we serve, increase the number and ambition of trips, purchase new equipment like tents and outdoor gear, and provide more training workshops such as Wilderness First Aid, CPR, and youth leadership development.
All donations are 100% tax deductible, and all money will go directly to supporting the Chicago ICO programs for kids in need.
You can also support us by purchasing tickets to the Adventure Film Festival on Eventbrite or at the door. All tickets, general and VIP, are not tax-deductible. (Please note that event tickets are not provided in exchange for donations made through Crowdrise.)

About Adventure Film Festival
CLIMB. RIDE. SLIDE. FLY. FIGHT FOR YOUR ENVIRONMENT. INSPIRE. GO HIGHER THAN YOU'VE EVER DARED TO GO.
As an international community of risk takers, provocateurs, artists, dreamers, athletes, activists…every year the international Adventure Film selection committee selects the very best and most inspirational films that cover risks both mighty and absurd; tap the fringes of the unknown; and portray those experiences that bring us to the edges of our seats with our hands over our eyes or our fists in the air. Adventure Film celebrates, supports and “ties in with” those who wish to inspire and fire the creative kilns of transformation and awareness. We believe in the power of the story, the narrative of adventure and awakening. We believe we have an opportunity and responsibility to challenge and change the world we live in.
