Addicts Parents United Inc

The Addict's Parents United (TAP United) is a support system and advocacy group, comprised solely of members who have one or more children with the disease of addiction, and parents who have lost a child/adult child from this disease. We provide support for the parents that is focused on giving hope with the utmost emphasis on Self-Care, while navigating through the devastation that is caused by the disease of addiction.

We are a group of parents working together, sharing experiences and unified in advocacy. We work collaboratively to effect change in the public perception of substance use disorder in order to advance the understanding that addiction is a brain disease which should be treated as such both medically and judicially.

Our online Closed Support Groups on FB can be found through our website at www.tapunited.org 

Every dollar donated goes directly to help support our orginization which includes our literature, wind chimes for parents of loss, blessing bags and supplies to fill the bags for the homeless, and those without going into sober living or treatment and others in need along with TAP United yearly More Than A Number gathering for our members on our Survivors Of Loss group for those that have lost a child to this disease, and other costs incured directly for TAP United.  We truly appreciate your donation.

The TAP United admin team are all volunteers with children with the disease of addiction or have suffered the  loss a child to this disease.  Please know there is support out there for us too.
