The Adaptive Sports Foundation (ASF) in Windham, NY empowers individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses through outdoor physical activity, education, support, and community. ASF students have disabilities ranging from relatively mild learning disabilities to more severe disabilities such as congenital and inherited disorders, cerebral palsy, and autism, and are aged five and older. Our extensive veterans program, Warriors in Motion, works with U.S. veterans who have suffered injuries ranging from amputation, shrapnel wounds, spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries to post traumatic stress and other combat related injuries.
We offer skiing, snowboarding, yoga, Nordic cross country and biathlon in the winter. Summer sports include golf, paddling, hiking, road cycling, and mountain biking.
