Adolescence can be a challenging time for teenagers, and even more so for those battling cancer. Being a process were they develop from children to adults, teenage cancer patients have the need to find information and resources that will give them advantage against this undesirable disease. Bite Me Cancer is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide age-appropriate inspiration, education and support to teenagers that have not been able to find it in pediatric and adult programs.
Five years ago, the organization came up with the “Teen Support Bag Program” that commits to distributing bags filled with age-pertinent items to teenagers undergoing treatment all around the US, especially in the Fairfax area, showing them that their unique struggles are understood.
The Grover Agency is committed to support Bite Me Cancer in their mission to deliver support to teenagers in the Fairfax community by raising awareness and funds for the “Teen Support Bag Program.”
