It’s an honor to be running the 2014 Boston Marathon to benefit Wake Up Narcolepsy.
At 6'3", 210 lbs., you could say I’m not your typical marathoner. I do love to run, though, and I’ve have been fortunate enough to run 6 marathons all told. This will be my first trek from Hopkinton to Boston.
My favorite race to date is the New York Marathon, which my twin brother, Stuart, and I both completed this past November. I finished at 3:59:12, beating my "under 4 hour" goal by 48 seconds. I’m training to shave minutes off my New York time and finish under 3:55.
As a matter of fact, Stuart ran for WUN in the 2013 Boston Marathon. I was not in Boston on that tragic day, but he has shared with me the emotional roller coaster the day brought him and so many thousands of other runners. So I’m proud to be running Boston 2014 in honor of the victims.
Thank you for your generous support of to benefit people everywhere living with narcolepsy.
