Somehow you have found your way to this fundraising page, and hopefully you have come here to make a donation. If that is the case, thank you in advance. If you still need some convincing, here is the crazy story of this Running With Ed team. (We even have an article in the Park Record).
Isabella and Gabe are both sophomores at Park City High School, and have decided to do the crazy thing and try to complete the entire 38 mile Running With Ed race just between the two of them. This means that they are running 19 miles each, but it's all for a very good reason.
Through the kindness of the people who run the whole shebang that is Running With Ed, Isabella and Gabe have been allowed to donate the money that they raise directly to two school activites that are definitely in need of support. Half of the money they raise is going to the PCHS Debate team, which placed third in state this year, and the other half is going to the PCHS Wrestling team. Both are currently grievously underfunded, and seeing as Isabella is one of the Captains of the Debate team, and Gabe is an accomplished member of the wrestling team as well as a part of the Debate team, it seemed like the right thing to do.
Hopefully you have been convinced to make a donation. Thank you, and see you on race day!
The 6th Annual Running with Ed (RWE) is Saturday May 16th, 2015. This 38-mile, 10-leg relay running race traverses spectacular Park City. The course offers everything from trail to pavement, challenging climbs to speedy downhills, easy legs for beginners and tougher ones for experts. Winding past Olympic venues, world-renowned ski resorts, City Park and historic Main Street, and Park City's seven public schools, cuminating in a rockin' after-party, RWE is a great outing for families and friends!
Proceeds from this campaign benefit the Park City Education Foundation
