Partnering with other Health Related Nonprofit Organizations
The McCourt foundation slogan "Neurology and Beyond" is front and center at this event. We are proud to partner with other health nonprofits with a related cause/mission. Our program to partner with other health related nonprofit organizations goal is to widen TMF's scope of giving back to patients and families.
HOW IT WORKS
Health Related Nonprofit Organizations must first apply to TMF's Partner Program to ensure an appropriate fit. Once the partnership is approved, the organization is invited to join the event and raise money for its cause. TMF's Tour De South Shore Athletic Festivle Event provides the ideal platform to fundraise and help other nonprofit organizations support their own causes. Approved partners can treat this event as if it were their own Event to raise funds and awareness for their health cause/mission. Upon completion of the event, TMF will donate 80% of what's raised directly to that nonprofit partner.

Please note, all Nonprofit Organizations must fill out an Official McCourt Foundation Partnership Application and submit it September 1, 2017. All Nonprofit Organizations much be pre-approved to join this program.
2017 TOUR de SOUTH SHORE Athletic Festivel...Bike (On/Off Road) Walk and "Fun" Run!
Wompatuck State Park, Hingham, MA
The McCourt Foundation’s 2017 Tour de South Shore Athletic Festival now offers a 25 and 50 Mile Bike, a 12 Mile Off Road Bike, a 5K Walk and a 5K Fun Run. Now everyday athletes as well as avid cyclists can get involved to support and honor loved ones with these diseases in a fun, healthy, community event. Participants can join an established team, start a new team or go solo. Each participant is challenged with the goal to raise $200 to help the fight against MS, Alzheimer’s, ALS and Parkinson’s disease
On Road 25 or 50 Mile BIKE
The bike will travel through the towns of Hingham, Cohasset, Scituate, and Norwell with Police details throughout the course.
Start Location: Wompatuck State Park, Hingham, MA
6:30 am Registration
7:30 am 50 Mile Bike
8:30 am 25 Mile Bike
Off Road 12 Mile Mt. BIKE
This 12 Mile Bike will stay in the Park and travel through the already well establish trails.
8:30 am 12 Mile Off Road Bike
5K (3.1 Mile) "Fun" Run
The Fun Run will take place within the park on the walking trails and will be well marked.

The walk will take place within the park on the walking trails and will be well marked.
Post Events!
At the end of the event, enjoy a real fun Tailgate with Lunch, Cold Beverages and entertainment at our Athletes Village.
The event will occur, Rain or Shine!
The Bike events "All" participants must be 12 years of age or older. All participants between the ages of 12 yrs. and 18 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult, and a waiver must be signed.
