The Bronchs Bombers needs your help in raising awareness and research funding for lung cancer. We're walking in the memory of Henry Gramlich who lost his battle to lung cancer in 2003. We're walking for the 158,248 lives that were taken by lung cancer in 2013, and 201,144 people were diagnosed. We're walking for the thousands of families and loved ones affected by this disease.
Lung cancer is the leading cancer killer in both men and women in the United States. Over half of those diagnosed die within ONE YEAR.
Our team name refers to what keeps us breathing each and every second: the bronchial tubes (and also our hometown of the Bronx!) We're working towards bombing lung cancer out of existence. Please join us in our fight.
If you donate $25 or more (the price of registration) and wish to participate in the walk, I will add you to the Run As One registration list.
If you cannot attend the walk, your donation is very much appreciated and I thank you for your support.
100% of all proceeds are donated to the Thomas G. Labrecque Foundation with the hope of raising lung cancer awareness and vital research dollars to find a cure.
