BENEFITING: JOHN RITTER FOUNDATION FOR AORTIC HEALTH
ORGANIZER: JOHN RITTER FOUNDATION FOR AORTIC HEALTH
EVENT DATE: Nov 03, 2013
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page, and thanks for sharing my cause and passion to support the John Ritter Foundation! Through greater education, awareness and research, more lives can be saved.
I come here from a very personal experience - my husband, Dale Gredler, died in 2010 at age 42, of an aortic dissection while overseas in the Foreign Service, in a place where medical facilities are quite lacking. His doctors missed the signs and symptoms, and Dale suffered his ultimate downfall, due to that lack of awareness.
He left behind two little girls, now aged four and six. I am raising them in Fishers, Indiana - friendliest place in America - where we are surrounded by fabulous family and neighbors.
This truly is a team effort, and I am so grateful for not only your donated funds to this worthy cause, but your cheers, your time watching my children while I train, your tips and care.
As William Faulkner once said, "You have a choice. You can throw in the towel, or you can use it to wipe the sweat off of your face."
We're here to fight the good fight. You are awesome for being a part of it!
