I need your help!
In early 2007 Joe Andruzzi was on top of the world. Beautiful wife and family, 3 Super Bowl Championships with the New England Patriots and he had just completed his 10th year in the NFL. All of that changed on May 30, 2007. Joe was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Burkitt's lymphoma. Joe spent over 50 days in the hospital and had an aggressive form of chemotherapy treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital. He admirably fought the disease with strength and courage. After chemotherapy Joe spent a year at home in recovery and has been in remission since.
Today, Joe and his wife Jen run the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF), a non-profit organization tackling cancer by providing financial assistance for patients and their families as well as funding for pediatric brain cancer research.
Jeanne-Marie and I got introduced to Jen and Joe a number of years ago and have been friendly with them ever since. I’d like to do my small part to help. I’m proud to support Joe and Jen and will be running the 2013 Boston Marathon to benefit the JAF. I’m asking for your help. I truly understand times are tough. If you can, and you'd like to, please donate – no matter how little. Your donation will make a difference!
