BENEFITING: Emory University
As you may or may not know, the month of November has been rebranded “Movember” by the global organizations committed to funding research into testicular and prostate cancer and mens’ mental health. By harnessing our most unique ability – facial hair growth – hundreds of thousands of men across the world have raised tens of millions, as well as awareness, for research and treatment of these conditions.
This year I am spearheading YP’s efforts to support mens’ health initiatives through Movember activities. As the founding member of HR's Team Human Hairsources, we are challenging several other Company departments to see who will grow the most moustaches in November and also raise the most money for mens’ health. We have a healthy corporate competition going here and will post the before and after photo results.
Keeping with YP’s commitment to local communities, we have designated Emory University’s Winship Cancer Center in Atlanta as the direct recipient of funds from this event. Winship is a globally recognized prostate cancer research center and we are proud to support it.
So, while my team and I are renting out prime real estate on our upper lips for a month, I am asking you for a contribution to help us reach our goal.
Thank you, and I appreciate your support!
