This September, I will be participating in the Run10Feed10 10k race held in NYC. I came across this event flipping through a Women's Health Magazine issue and thought not only would it be a great personal challenge to train for (and complete) a 10k, but an excellent opportunity to fundraise for a good cause. The Run10Feed10 event benefits the FEED Foundation.
RUN 10 FEED 10 started in 2012 with the hope of raising money and awareness for the dire hunger problem in America. The concept was a simple one. RUN a 10K and FEED 10 hungry people in your hometown. Since they started, they have raised enough money to provide 3.75 million meals to Americans in need. Now, going into their fourth year, they need our help once again to reach their goal of providing 5 million meals. We can make a huge impact in a very simple way.
No donation is too small. Thanks for your support!
