I am raising money for wounded service members, the Boilermaker Way!
Sitrin Foundation of Utica, is proud to be one of ten charities partnering with the Boilermaker for its inaugural Charity Bib Program. As a member of Sitrin's charity team, the Sitrin FundRacers, I've raised the $500 minimum for Sitrin's Military Rehabilitation and Adaptive Sports Programs. I'm in the race!
HOWEVER, MY GOAL IS $1000 and I need your help!
I'm running in memory of my special hero, my son, Marine Sgt. Elisha R Parker, who was killed in action in Iraq on 04 May 2006. Eli loved to run and so I continue that passion by running for a reason greater than my own pleasure.
With the right kind of support, The Lodge that Sitrin hopes to build, can be a place where injured servicemembers and veterans throughout the nation begin the process of rebuilding their lives. Sitrin's Mililtary Rehabilitation and Adaptive Sports Programs are already making great strides in the lives of our nation's wounded veterans. Visit sitrin.com to learn more about their programs for veterans.
Thank you for your support!
