To make sure that what we all love about this place is here for the future, local tech companies have come together. Silicon Shire for the River (in Eugene & Springfield, Oregon) is a two week Matching Campaign to support the work of McKenzie River Trust.
We all share an extraordinary community, one of the most livable places in the nation. We’ve got awesome natural surroundings; clean, abundant drinking water; and more hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, and fishing opportunities than you can fit into all the weekends of summer. Can you imagine our area without these things? Thanks to people like you, none of us has to.
We've got two weeks to raise $5,000 to give McKenzie River Trust $10,000 of support to protect what you care about in western Oregon. The following Silicon Shire businesses are challenging you to match their generous gifts, dollar for dollar:
AppNexus $ 500 MPulse $ 500
Concentric Sky $ 1,000 Palo Alto $ 1,000
IDX $ 1,000 SheerID $ 1,000
“We’re proud to be a part of the Silicon Shire and its efforts to continue to make Eugene a great place to live, work, and play,” explained Steve Brous, MPulse CEO. “We enjoy the outdoor activities and scenery of this special area, and we’re dedicated to preserving that experience for our current and future employees, their families, our customers, and the community we live in.”
The outdoor recreation and plentiful clean water of this area will continue to draw people here. Give today, and make sure that what makes this place so extraordinary will always be here.
KICK-OFF ON THE LAND: 4:30pm, Thursday, October 15th on Green Island
