We come from all walks of life, different schools, different hometowns, different places. We are different ages and represent many things - but one thing about us is, we all have the same passion, the same goal.
Many of us met through volunteering at Camp Sunshine, some of us have heard about it through those who have been there and some of us know what it's like to love someone or lose someone to an awful disease. Our goal is to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer, Brain Tumors, Renal Disease, FA, DBA, Lupus, Sickle Cell and many other life threatening childhood diseases as well as to help support a place we hold so very close to our hearts.
We are doing this plunge not only to make a statement, but to send out love and support to the amazing families we've met through Camp Sunshine, who find hope and healing yearly at a place that changes lives, not only through camp sessions, but through the events all year and in between. Camp Sunshine doesn't run without donations, and our lives wouldn't be the same without Camp Sunshine. In a nutshell, that's why we are shivering for sunshine at the end of January. Donate if you can, everything counts!
GO CAMP SUNSHINE!!
