From Marina Castro:
One of my friends who is involved with Camp Kindle made a film about it and posted it online. A camper named Brryan Jackson was asked why he comes to camp, and he said,“I go to camp because it’s magical. There’s no witchcraft or anything but it’s more the magic of love.” I don’t know anyone personally who is infected with HIV/AIDS. I have never been a camp counselor before. I personally have gone through so little compared to what these children endure on a daily basis. And yet, the “magic of love” transcends all of that. I want to get involved with something magical; who doesn’t?! People I admire and respect tremendously speak highly of their experiences at Camp Kindle, and it seems like an opportunity I would be foolish to pass up!!
