The Story

EVENT DATE: May 02, 2015

DEADLINE TO GIVE: May 30, 2015

We are back! After the amazing success of Camp Susquehannock’s First Annual Alumni Challenge, we are back for a bigger and better second year.

As alumni, we understand the benefits of attending Camp Susquehannock and why it is such a great experience for children as it teaches self-reliance, self-confidence, sportsmanship, and leadership.

It is our hope that, in its second year, the Alumni Challenge continues to generate support for the Camp Susquehannock Scholarship Fund so that others from varying economic, cultural, and geographic backgrounds find out how Summer Lasts a Lifetime.

Participants in the 2015 Alumni Challenge (#AC15) are asked to solicit donations from family members, friends, co-workers, or other camp alumni throughout the weeks leading up to the weekend of May 1-3, 2015. To celebrate all of our participants' hard work we will be gathering in Philadelphia to socialize on Friday evening, play traditional Camp Susquehannock field games on Saturday afternoon until a complimentary dinner, and then take to city to spend some time with our fellow alumni. The Alumni Challenge is a great way to spend time with friends while also raising money for Camp!

Scholarships! Scholarships! Scholarships!

Camp Susquehannock Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 corporation which encourages the moral, social, and physical development of campers, primarily through the medium of team and individual sports. The program is designed to engender self-reliance, self-confidence, and leadership ability. In athletic competition, at the dining table, and in cabin life campers are taught tolerance and respect for others, how to deal gracefully with conflict, and a sense of fair play.
