I'm proud to be running the TCS NYC Marathon to help children and adults with disabilities in NE and Central Pennsylvania served by Allied Services. Any size donation will help. Donate $30 in my honor and you'll be eligible to receive a cool moisture-wicking Ryan's Run exercise shirt.
I live in Peckville with my husband, Bob and our two children, Bobby and Cali. For me, exercising has always been a passion. I started running track in high school and have made fitness, and running in particular, a part of my life ever since.
I’ve worked at Allied-Services for nearly twenty years as an Exercise Physiologist. As the Fitness Manager at Allied’s Aronica Wellness Center in Scranton and as part of the team at Allied, I’ve experienced so many great stories of recovery. I enjoy helping patients and staff meet their fitness goals and have fun along the way.
Just recently, I started running longer distances. The TCS New York City Marathon will be my first marathon and I’m excited to be training and working towards this new goal. What makes it even more special is that in reaching a personal fitness goal I’ll also be helping people in my community who have their own obstacles to overcome.
I’m proud to be representing Allied Services – a nationally ranked rehab facility – in the marathon and to be part of helping children and adults with disabilities towards a better life.
