THE STORY:

I'm proud to be running the TCS NYC Marathon to help children and adults with disabilities in NE and Central Pennsylvania served by Allied Services. Any size donation will help. Donate $30 in my honor and you'll be eligible to receive a cool moisture-wicking Ryan's Run exercise shirt.

“Support the good work of Allied Services and Ryan’s Run, and witness one of the world’s largest sporting events”

Steve Davidowitz is a resident of Dallas, Pennsylvania.  He is a Registered Representative with Sammons Securities.   Steve served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Gabon, Central Africa.  In his community, Steve serves on the Board of Governors of Generation to Generation.

Steve is the proud father of two children: Kim and Daniel.  Kim attends The Art Institute of Philadelphia and Daniel studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

This year, Steve hopes to complete his 8th TCS New York City Marathon by participating in Ryan’s Run.  He has mentored other TCS New York City Marathon runners for Team for Kids, which is the official charity of the New York Road Runners.

His family supports Allied Services and have benefited greatly from their quality care. His sister-in-law, Sherry Davidowitz, serves on the Board of Directors of Allied Services John Heinz Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Steve encourages everyone to support Allied Services and come out to New York City to cheer on the runners.  It may be the largest sporting event in the world.  There will be 47,000 runners from all 50 states and over 100 countries. Along the course, there will be over 100 live bands performing a wide variety of music and more than 2 million very enthusiastic spectators.

ABOUT RYAN'S RUN 5

Ryan's Run 5 is here! For the fifth year running, WNEP TV's Ryan Leckey will lead a team of runners in raising funds and awareness for children and adults with disabilities. Proceeds from Ryan's Run benefit Allied Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities, life-changing injuries and chronic illness.

In just 4 years, Ryan's Run has raised more than $900,000 enabling Allied Services to invest in the people, services and cutting-edge technology that is changing lives in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania.
