The Story

EVENT DATE: Mar 11, 2018

Over the past seven years, Run Lucky has grown into a must-attend event for all ages. From the the bagpipe players at the start line to the green beer at the finish line, Run Lucky is the ultimate way to experience St. Patrick’s Day in Oklahoma City, all while helping to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!  Run Lucky kicks off on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 1:30 PM with the Mission Mile Fun Run, and then continues at 2:00 PM with the start of the 5K race.  Following the race, participants who are 21+ are invited to enjoy a green beer at our finish line party.  Awards and a costume contest are held around 3:00 PM. Run Lucky is brought to you by Friends of LLS, a small 501(c)3, comprised of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about finding a cure not only for blood cancers, like leukemia and lymphoma, but for ALL cancers. We have no paid staff and our overhead is less than $500 per year. All proceeds from Run Lucky benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Oklahoma. Help us fight the fight against cancer by donating to Run Lucky directly or on behalf of your favorite team.
